I had always felt that I was not very artistic, but while cooped up during lockdown I looked for an avenue to direct my energies, I happened upon a course advertised locally on the internet. Never having heard of glass fusing before, I was intrigued and took the opportunity to attend my first glass fusing workshop. I immediately fell in love with the medium and within a week had ordered my own kiln. I find working with glass very therapeutic and it allows me to escape from a very busy work life.
I love the diverse range of effects and styles that can be achieved with glass. With the vast amount of techniques, products and changing technologies I look forward to continue to learn and develop my skills.
